LexmotoThe Lexmoto ZSX was released on the 4th of April to Llexeter Ltd’s ‘Chinese Motorcycle Dealer Network’. In less than a week all available units have already been allocated to dealers across the UK and pre orders have begun on the second batch of the model. The model marks a new offering from the UK’s most dominant Chinese Bike brand Lexmoto and is focused at the highly competitive commuter market. Priced at £1499 the model is priced £1000 cheaper than the current market leaders, the Honda CBF125 and Yamaha YBR125. The bike has been produced by the Zongshen factory (who created the bike in partnership with Piaggio in China). The Piaggio equivalent, the Robinson has already received praise for its quality finish and design and has been awarded ‘2011 Chinese Motorcycle of the year’ prior to the model entering mass production. The model uses the 158FMI-B engine which is a variation on the standard engine used on many of the existing Lexmoto models but is geared to provide a more responsive ride associated with commuter riding. Taking a tried and tested SOHC engine and adding unique styling, Lexmoto hope that they are able to build on their success and challenge the Japanese brands further with this new 125cc model. Visit www.lexmoto.co.uk for more details on the range.
