After months of development, KYMCO Scooters, Motorcycles and ATVs have launched a brand new mobile-friendly website, firmly aimed at helping new riders get on 2-wheels.

Featuring a colourful new on-trend flat design that is powered by the latest in technical functionality to make it desktop and mobile-friendly, KYMCO’s new UK website has been created in a format that gives those looking to convert to 2-wheels all the information they need to make an educated choice.

The easy to navigate site has been designed to guide users around all the different commuter and sports models in the KYMCO range, and each machine is labelled with a series of new icons that immediately identify its key features such as MPG, affordability, top speed, licence requirements and whether it’s an ideal learner-legal bike which is commuter friendly.

Ian Kidson, Managing Director of MASCO Ltd, the sole UK importer for KYMCO said that with many of KYMCO’s customers new to 2-wheels, the website has been designed to help them through the selection journey, from learning about the KYMCO brand to choosing the right model for their budget and lifestyle, helping with finance and insurance packages through to ‘booking a look’ with their local dealer.

He said: “We wanted to make it easier visually for people to use and interact with our website from a desktop and any mobile device, including tablets and smartphones. With so much choice, we’ve hopefully achieved our aim of providing concise, informative descriptions, using a mix of text, visual icons, imagery and video to help more people get on 2-wheels with KYMCO.”

The website also links to KYMCO’s social media activity with live Twitter streams on the home page.

Another significant new element of the website is the development of specific, integrated dealer microsites that will be dynamically updated alongside the main website. Ian explains: “This ensures our dealer’s websites always have the most up-to-date information on our products and special offers.”

Ian adds: “Getting on 2-wheels for the first time can seem complex, so the ultimate aim of the new website, together with the support of our dealer network, was to make the selection and buying process as easy as it can possibly be.”

Alongside the launch of the website this month, KYMCO has also introduced a fantastic selection of ‘ride away’ packages for the summer, comprising low-rate finance, subsidised scooter insurance and free compulsory basic training (CBT) on all new 125cc motorcycles.
